Overview
Star Employment Services is happy to be recruiting for a Female Personal Care Assistant for a client based in the hamlet of Donnington, around 15 mins from Shrewsbury. You will be required to work one 24 hour shift per week and possibly 2 half days. You must be flexible to cover holidays/absences when needed. Applicants must be hard working, reliable and punctual, be friendly to establish a close working relationship on a 1 to 1 basis. You will respect confidentiality at all times and preserve the client's dignity and support her in her chosen lifestyle, whilst respecting her home, ensuring it is clean and hygienic. At present the client is inactive due to complex health issues so she requires somebody who is empathetic to her situation. The household has resident dogs and a cat so you must accept that they are part of the family. Working on a 1 to 1 basis, this is your workplace, but primarily it is a home. It is a friendly atmosphere and a sense of humour is a must. For all of the above the rate of pay is £9.25 per hour rising at the end of a successful probation period.
