Your new role An influential data privacy Legal Counsel position reporting into the Legal Director, as part of a highly talented and respected legal function. The role will extend its influence across the EMEA region, ensuring high-quality international work. Covering advisory matters surrounding privacy matters in contracts as well as data storage and cyber-security matters, the position will directly inform the business' strategy as it is crucial to ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant laws. What you'll need to succeed You will be a UK qualified data-privacy focused lawyer with at least 2 PQE (as a guide only), with training from a reputable firm and a sound understanding of data privacy matters, encompassing GDPR, cyber-security and contractual matters. You will be able to influence at the highest levels, while easily building relationships with stakeholders across different functions both within and outside the business. You will be passionate about data privacy matters and be able to showcase a track record of excellence in relevant matters.
