Your Opportunity Are you an expert Cyber Security Analyst looking for an opportunity to step up and lead a dynamic team of analysts? Do you love to analyse traffic and identify new and emerging threats? We are hiring a Technical Manager to join our rapidly growing Cyber Intelligence Centre (CIC) delivering business critical services to our customers. You will provide technical insight and leadership to a friendly and collaborative team that use industry leading and internally developed technologies to provide a suite of services. These include Threat Monitoring and Hunting, Vulnerability Management, and Threat Intelligence. To do well in this role you will be a Cyber Security expert, have great skills with common analysis and SIEM toolsets, be naturally curious, enjoy problem solving, and have a dedication to great quality service. Your Role You are the technical reference for the analysts working to protect our customers. You will constantly improve the processes and content supporting our service and will support analysts in their investigations, reviewing their work both technically and in terms of customer value. Typical responsibilities include: Identifying and investigating potential threats and security risks on customer networks through the use of tools such as Elastic Search and Hadoop. Performing open source research into new threats and techniques. Supporting the development and output of a team of junior analysts. Driving the development of new tools, techniques, and approaches to improve our services. This role is not shift based but does include on-call for overnights and weekends as part of a rota.
