Overview

Are you a Design Engineer looking for your next role? Looking to work somewhere which can offer you freedom and autonomy as well as a dedicated team and top facilities? And do you have experience with fluid power pressure and flow control solutions for the medical and scientific fields? If so, this role might be perfect for you We are looking for an experienced Technical Designer / Design Engineer to work for a fantastic client based in Waterlooville (so, easily commutable from Portsmouth, Fareham and Southampton) which specialises in fluid technology. This role would see you taking new products through to completion from conception which would be put to use in the medical and scientific industries; using your skills and knowledge you would be creating prototypes to test Fluid Control capabilities, using various machines and methods (including injection moulding, casting and extrusions). We are looking for a Design Engineer who can manage projects, taking designs through the prototype stages and manufacturing processes (which are Pneumatic and Fluid Controls) and working closely with other engineers. A degree or time-served apprenticeship within Mechanical Design would be ideal, as would experience with FEA analysis. This role is Temp-to-Perm role, meaning you would begin as a contractor (on either PAYE or Ltd) with the aim to move to permanent after several months. This means there is real scope for progression, with great benefits and enviable pension after going permanent.
