Mazars Outsourcing Team This vacancy is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join our Financial Outsourcing team following your completion of secondary education or college, or following time spent working in industry. There is no previous accounting knowledge required for the position as full training will be provided from our supportive and friendly team, all we require is your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Prior office experience is preferred together with strong organisational skills. This role offers great opportunity to liaise directly with clients, and to be part of an exciting and expanding team. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of the team, to gain experience of accounting and provide a high quality service to our clients. There is the opportunity for applicants to begin the AAT qualification 12-18 months after starting the role. Job Role • Providing basic bookkeeping to clients including; bank reconciliation work, supplier invoice processing, expense processing, preparing journals and sales invoice processing • Assisting in the preparation of year-end financial statements • Co-ordination of data requests to clients, and the management of return information • General ad-hoc administrative tasks for the wider teams Person Specification • School or college leaver/ experience of jobs in industry (does not need to be finance related) • Excellent organisational skills essential • Excellent verbal communication skills • Excellent attention to detail • Strong numerical/analytical skills • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel • Keen interest in Finance • Keen interest in the use of technology to provide better service to clients What’s in it for you This is a unique opportunity to join a fast growing Accounting and Outsourcing team within a large global accounting firm, and a truly exciting opportunity to make your mark and progress your career in a growing global business.
