Herts Good Care is a non-profit company, supporting adult care providers across Hertfordshire to fill their permanent positions. We are currently working with Myrtle Care Providers to find a Care Assistant to join their team. Job Shift: Days, Evenings and Weekends Location: Broxbourne Type of Provider: Home Care (Domiciliary) Assisting older adults living with Dementia, End Of Life, Mental Health, Physical Disability, Sensory Impairment Salary: £9.00 - £10.50 Per Hour Hours of Work: Flexible - shifts start from 7am last call 8.30pm Driving Required: Yes Contract Type: 0 Hours Contract About the company We are a small home care provider supporting adults of all ages with varying needs, from dementia, to physical disabilities, within their own homes. We are looking for caring, dedicated, conscientious and compassionate Care Assistants to join our friendly team to provide person-centred care, and ensure our service users are always treated with dignity and respect. Providing care and support is both a challenging and rewarding experience. You will mostly work alone with the service uer in in their home covering Waltham Cross, Cheshunt, Brixbourne, Hoddesdon and Goff Oak and Cuffley. Daily living tasks such as: Personal Care - Support service users with their care needs in line with their individual care plan. This may include assisting with personal and intimate care as required by the individual. Companionship - Build professional relationships with service users, assisting with their emotional, social and spiritual needs whilst encouraging independence and choice. Assist service users with going about their daily life, from support with medication, or preparing meals, to helping them to keep well. Community - Accompany service users accessing the community and attending their chosen activities in line with their personal care and support plan. The list of tasks and duties is not exhaustive and may change over time depending on the need of the service. What makes the perfect Care Assistant?
