Salary: c.£50,000-£55,000 per annum when working full time (35 hours a week) Contract: 12 month fixed term contract Location: Bristol, Harwell or Manchester We're looking for amazing people to help us drive a digital revolution for the benefit of society. You could be exactly what we need We're ideally looking for someone with: A level 7 CIPD qualification (or equivalent) Solid generalist experience with experience advising on complex ER matters Significant experience leading strategic projects A strong background in either reward, early careers or EDI You'll have sound judgement, resilience and be able to work well with ambiguity and complexity. You'll thrive on pace and change, be flexible and pragmatic in your approach and be able to deliver to agreed timescales. You'll need to be organised and have great attention to detail. It's important to us that you're a team player as we are a collaborative, fun team and we all pull together to get things done. We like creativity and innovation and you can really make an impact and help to shape the agenda. About the role It's a really exciting time to join us in the HR team at Jisc. We're in the process of implementing Jisc's people agenda which is revolutionising the way we work. We're moving to light touch, commercially focused approaches where we provide the tools, skills, knowledge and a broad framework to help our people be great managers and leaders. There is huge amounts of change happening in the organisation and we need help ensure this is delivered effectively. As a HR business partner, you'll work in true partnership with your business areas. You'll be an extension of their team, providing consultancy, advice and options on a range of issues, and coaching managers to help them achieve their goals. This is a varied, fast-paced, generalist role where you will work on all aspects of HR on an operational and strategic basis. You'll work on a range of interesting and challenging projects, working strategically to ensure we meet our organisational objectives and all work within a high performing, commercially focused, and engaging working environment.
