Overview

Think Specialist Recruitment are pleased to be working with a well established, market leading organisation. A position has become available within this UK manufacturer for an experienced Quality Manager to join their successful organisation. The successful candidate will be a key member of the team, this person will help to drive the quality culture within the business, innovating the process and ensuring the company maintain their ISO9001 accreditation. Salary up to £40,000 Great benefits including 25 days holiday Some of the duties will include: Develop the quality Policy, quality objectives and Key Performance Indicators, acting independently to ensure that the quality objectives are met. Prepare and implement the quality plan and Quality Assurance and Control procedures. Define and agree testing standards in conjunction with companies manufacturing and engineering functions. Arrange and ensure timely inspection of all materials delivered to sites. Arrange and ensure performance and functional testing on all stages of production/raw materials as per procedures and applicable work instructions. Ensure that all testing and measuring instruments are calibrated as per defined standards, reviewing standards regularly to ensure alignment with regulations. Handle and maintain quality records related to product manufacture. Handle and maintain traceability of items where needed. Lead the SAP Quality Module implementation and ongoing development. Understand customer specifications and implications for the internal quality program. Work with independent testing bodies as and when needed. Direct the ISO 9001 program and help sustain a transparent and progressive culture of continual improvement. Lead all aspects of the Quality Program ISO 9001 including critical review and ongoing evolution. Maintain audit records Lead audits by external bodies and run the internal audit schedule ensuring any non-conformances have corrective actions identified and closed out. Work with all departments to help facilitate process improvement & identify training needs. The suitable candidate: 3-5 years experience within a similar position Recognised auditor with experienced in ISO9001 Excellent communication skills on all levels Experienced in SAP Minimum of 5 GCSE's/preferably studied at Degree level Strong planning and organisational skills Knowledge of manufacturing Looking for the next step in your career?
