Overview
Head of Quality Assurance: At GAMA Healthcare, we’re looking for an experienced Head of Quality to join our growing RAQA function. You will report to the RAQA Director and lead the Quality team. You will collaborate and advise stakeholders at all levels throughout the business on topics relating to compliance and product quality. What will you do? Lead, develop and support the quality team to achieve their responsibilities and objectives Guide and influence the organisation to ensure the delivery of world class products and services Ensure the alignment of GAMA global quality systems and that relevant quality /GDP certifications are maintained Work cross-functionally to support the compliant introduction of new products Ensure efficient and timely delivery of quality improvement related projects including improvements to supplier management processes and the implementation of electronic quality management systems across multiple sites Remain current with changes to quality assurance requirements in all markets and lead change to ensure compliance What will you need? Demonstrable experience of successfully managing and developing teams within a quality assurance or related function To have been responsible for ISO13485 medical device and ideally pharma GDP QMS (eligible for RP status would be an advantage) Successful interactions with regulatory agencies and/or certification bodies Ability to influence and work successfully cross-functionally Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. CQI) Familiarity with Microbiology or Chemistry and ideally an awareness of infection control Degree / higher degree in a suitable scientific/technology discipline Substantial knowledge of Regulations, Standards and Compliance Requirements relevant to GAMA’s business What will you get?
