Working closely with many different stakeholders, you will be seen as an expert knowledge source within the business, handling a variety of tasks, as well as giving value added advice and recommendations for others to take action against. Although this is an analytical role, predominantly dealing with the manipulation and interpretation of data, you will be a pivotal liaison point for our sales teams and other internal stakeholders, therefore strong interpersonal skills, coupled with above average written and verbal communication skills are essential. Key duties and responsibilities of our Analyst: - Manage key data processes and reference tables into our data warehouse - Drive profitability by carrying out customer reviews, tracking customer sell pricing in our operational systems, tracking impact due to changes to assortment has on customers, and managing the product family data to support product switching. - Proactively dealing with ad hoc queries and requests that come into the Sales Ops inbox, addressing issues, giving insight or presenting credible solutions to the problem at hand - Ensure that all pricing models/non-core pricing is maintained and updated according to schedules - Produce bespoke analysis, support on-going business activities - Manage contract compliance audits and insights, presenting recommendations to stakeholders - Play the role of business analyst when required to work on improving processes, using your analytical and technical expertise - Drive innovation in the way we analyse our business, constantly turning insight into action and ensuring we see the desired impact What we are looking for in our ideal Analyst: - A quick learner, who is able to apply business understanding in analysis and problem solving - Strong analytical skills with good understanding of IT applications - A team player who can develop constructive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders and can adapt to changes. - Open minded, avoids assigning blame and wants to find resolutions to problems - A good communicator with stakeholders at all levels. - Comfortable consolidating, reporting and analysing large quantities of information or datasets, prioritising work to meet deadlines - Have a desire to be creative, having a critical eye and applying logic to solve problems in a commercial environment. - Ability to deliver results and to take ownership/accountability of business tasks.
