Overview
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Leading Environmental Consultancy based in Leicester who, after recent expansion, are looking for a P401 qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join their talented team. Role: Preparation/screening of soil samples ready for chemical analysis Identification of asbestos in bulk materials Identification and quantification of asbestos in soil samples Ensuring that laboratory testing is carried out to high standards of safety, quality and efficiency Ensuring that adequate and proper records are kept and filed correctly to satisfy UKAS requirements Requirements: Must be P401 qualified Previous experience of analysing asbestos in soil would be advantageous, however training would be provided BOHS P403 certificate would be advantageous Good oral, written and numeracy skills GCSE grade C or above in maths and science (or equivalent) Computer literate Benefits: Contributory Pension Scheme Overtime paid for hours over basic 40 hour week Potential for progression Full training given Salary: Up to £24K Full Time and Permanent, 40 hours a week.
