Overview

A bit of a unique opportunity here You will be at the hub of all new projects and the inevitable migrations from on-prem Windows Servers to what is becoming a larger AWS environment. This a fantastic mid-level role that will give some exposure to AWS and DevOps toolsets. You will be working for a fun organisation, dress down culture based in the Holborn / Tottenham Court Road location. There are 1400 permanent employees across 30 circa operational companies within the group. There are at least this many again freelancers so circa 3000 heads across 30 offices across the UK. There is a separate team that manage the daily support of the users allowing you and your team mate the freedom to work on 3rd line projects. The current tech stack: AWS (Amazon Web Services) - around 20 servers in production Windows Server - on-prem across multiple offices Hyper-V PowerShell Terraform Docker Chef/Puppet Networking Routing and APIs. O365 and some GSuite In this role it will be your responsibility to come up with the ideas and implement future projects: Further on-prem Windows - AWS migrations Finance application migration to AWS Automation projects, working on implementing OKTA Active Directory integration to OKTA Easy on-boarding for newly acquired businesses Security access process This is a bit of a unique role as essentially this is a cloud-based infrastructure role with an emphasis on automation and cloud as opposed a DevOps position where you will be typically working with developers and managing CI/CD pipelines. So, it's important to understand the differentiation here. There will be so much freedom for you to work on projects and make important decisions about the direction of our client's technical direction.
