Overview
Royal Blind, Scotland’s largest vision impairment charity, is looking for Charge Nurse to join Jenny’s Well. The Charge Nurse will be responsible for setting and directing relationship centred care to residents under the direction of the Deputy Manager/Manager. The post holder will be a crucial influence on staff to ensure that standards of care are set and maintained and will act as a link between the nursing and care team and senior management, assuming responsibility for the Deputy Manager/ Manager in their absence. Key requirements: Educated to degree level (or equivalent) or RN Current NMC registration, with relevant registration experience Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary environment and managing a team Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. Ability to build positive professional relationships at all levels. Ability to adapt to change, respond positively to non-routine situations and remain calm under pressure. Commitment to leading by example. Hours: 34.5 hours per week, 3 days from 7.
