Overview
Are you an experienced Technical Consultant? Do you have experience working with large organisations, implementing software solutions ? Would you like to work for a global software company with their HQ in Edinburgh ? I’m looking for an experienced Software Technical Consultant to join the team to support my clients sales and professional services teams. As they have clients globally there will be worldwide travel from time to time. Your responsibilities will include: · Deliver software implementation design workshops · Install and configure the application for their customers · Train customers, partners and consultants on the proper use of the application · Communicate with the Project Manager on project status and issues · Drive continuous improvements to the product and implementation methodology · Assist with the creation of scope of work/statement of work documents · Deliver both full customer implementations and Pilot/POC projects Your experience should include: · Asset Management (Hardware and Software) · Implementations of Asset Management tools such as SCCM, Flexera, SNOW · Software Licensing Models including Microsoft, Oracle and Adobe · Software Deployment, Patch Management, Alert Management · Performance Monitoring · Strong technical understanding of enterprise architecture and domains · Excellent understanding of Windows, UNIX and Linux infrastructure including File System, Registry, Active Directory, user profiles, security · Understanding of relational databases · Understanding of virtualized technologies such VMWare and Hyper-V · Scripting with tools such as JavaScript · Exceptional communication and presentation skills Desirable experience: · ITIL Certified · Spoken proficiency in languages other than English beneficial · Experience working with and/or implementing ITSM software For more information get in touch asap.
