Overview
I am looking for Newly Qualified Social Workers in London and the surrounding areas Due to the current climate we are anticipating an increased demand for Social Workers in the Adult Social Care Sector. This is an opportunity for Newly Qualified Social Works to aid our Adult Social Care Services, and to prove their professional skills in locum roles. To be eligible for this opportunity, your student Social Work placements must have been within the Adult Social Care Sector: Hospital, Physical Disabilities, Learning Disabilities, Older Adults or Mental Health. (Preferably in the public sector). If you are sending over a CV, please send over reference details from your University placements. A chance to kick start your Social Work career Responsibilities of the Social Worker: Carry a caseload of vulnerable service users. Assessments under the Care Act 2014. Mental Capacity Assessments. Putting into place care packages and support plans. Community Visits. Facilitate service user choice and empowerment. Work under the Safeguarding Act by ensuring decisions are made for the best interest for the service users. Working as part of an MDT to facilitate the best possible care for the service uses. You must have: Social Work England Registration. A clear, enhanced DBS Background on the update service. Must have Student placement in an Adults team.
