IT Systems Administrator - Multinational Bank - Central London - £52K Fantastic Benefits Bonus My client a multinational bank based in central London are looking for a IT Systems Administrator to support business processes as a member of the IT business processing group. The position will require managing the BPG (business processing group) as well as contributing to project work as a system developer. Experience/Qualifications: Strong experience working within IT in the Finance Sector including development/programming experience Basic knowledge of finance and banking operations Can distinguish between data & software issues Technical skills including - Systems Management & Development with VB & VB.Net Strong SQL scripting (Views, Stored procedures, Function) Good knowledge of Powershell scripting & XML Experience in 1st line support of RiskMgt and Dealing Room Systems Key Responsibilities: As a Systems Operator - Carry out system operation, maintenance & management under the supervision of System Administrator. As a Security Operator - Carry out system account creation, change and deletion under the supervision of security administrator. As Systems Developer - For in-house systems (Regulatory Reporting Systems, Corporate Bond System, Loan Admin System, Interrogator, ALMS and other systems assigned by Management), to carry out system development in relation to small peripheral business applications and to make sure system implementation is compatible with the IT procedures and information security policy / Standard. As a System Administrator - Administrate, maintain and manage systems Carry out planning in relation to system Manage data stored in systems safely As Security Administrator - plan and carry out system access control including organizing IT security training for users. General - carry out general user support in relation to business applications. Support the Manager of BPG, the Head of IT, and the senior manager of IT Department and carry out such other duties as requested by the General Manager.
