Overview

Senior Engineer. Degree qualified Civil Engineer coming from a practical setting out background with a Groundworks or RC frame contractor. Must have good AutoCAD skills, strong oral and written communication skills, good technical skills in RC structures. Substantial new build private residence in the Cotswolds. The Project Substantial RC private residence with double basements to 9m depth and proportionate superstructure on a 2200 m2 footprint. Initially deep drainage and excavation of earthworks, services infrastructure, then formation of large RC basement substructure, retaining walls to 8m. Excavation of 25,000 m3, 4,500 m3 concrete with 1,000 t of rebar to place Project starts in March and is scheduled for completion in December The Company is a leading contractor in working on bespoke and high-quality projects throughout London and the surrounding counties. Excellent pipeline of work. Senior Engineer’s requirements / experience: Fast track sub structure programmes Comfortable with and have a good understanding of Civil's & RC works. Able to identify design issues and manage flow of information to feed the site team. A good thorough understanding of Formwork & Falsework Systems Understand Sub Structures Construction, Waterproofing of sub structures and drive quality control onsite Ideally with Temp Works Co-ordinators training Ideally but not essential to have CPCS, AP card or Lift Supervisors Card Must be a good communicator and be able to lead the site team Monitor and Control Works Progress Lead from the front in terms of H&S standards and environment management Attend Weekly Team Meetings and Daily Morning Briefing with the site team Remuneration £275 to £300 per shift UTR basis.
