Overview
Retail - Junior ASP.NET Developer 6 Month Contract Holborn Purpose The ASP.NET Developer will create, develop and maintain websites and associated applications. Duties include creating a new online catalogue of products to work alongside our current retail site which includes writing and editing content; designing webpage layout; determining technical requirements; updating website; and solving code problems. You will be working alongside our in-house ASP.Classic Developer. Role and responsibilities - Create website layout/user interface - Assist with weekly site updates including; homepages, content pages and banners - Follow MUJI guidelines to ensure consistency across all assets - Ensuring assets will be displayed correctly on multiple devices - Collaborate with the Online and Advertising & Promotions team to create engaging designs for all the online platforms -Updating our ASP.Classic pages to ASP.Net and assisting our current Web Developer with the migration Knowledge and skills - Programming skills with ASP.Net & C#, and any of the following will be advantageous, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL - Problem solving skills - Ability to work well within a team, as well as be self-motivated and able to work independently Education and experience - ASP.NET & C# experience (6 months minimum) - Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and responsive web design are an advantage - An interest in digital trends, design and best practices - Proven understanding of typography, layout, consistency and grid structures What we offer In return for your enthusiasm and expertise, we offer - A competitive salary - 8% Pension Contribution paid by the company after 6 months - Flexi time working hours - Working from Home (Max 1 day per week with prior arrangement) - 25 days holiday per year 1 Muji day per year Bank Holidays - Staff Discounts - Interest free season tickets loans -Maternity / Paternity Payments in line with the service with the business This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89622442
