Overview
We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our client, a growing business who develops software solutions for the construction industry. Job Title: IT Infrastructure Engineer Location: Halesowen, West Midlands Salary: 20,000 – 30,000 DOE Purpose of the role: The successful candidate would be working in a small team at a time of growth, so initially working on the internal infrastructure support you would also be involved with client software solutions currently under development. Duties: · Supporting the IT estate · Involved with projects developing a new range of software solutions · Supporting and maintaining existing applications · Working with construction designers and engineers to develop solutions to complex problems The successful candidate will: · Have experience of Microsoft Server and Networking technologies. · Server backup and recovery · Microsoft Office 365 knowledge · Experience of Firewall technologies · Desktop support knowledge · Willing to train and expand levels of knowledge · Be a pro active team member willing to share ideas and join in with problem solving. · Have excellent academic performance including high grade maths and physics A-levels (or equivalent) The role offers the opportunity to build on knowledge perhaps gained via a relevant degree or for someone looking to take on the next level of responsibility in new areas such as design and development. Although not essential a knowledge of AutoCAD may prove useful. You will be supported by the Company's directors to learn about the technologies and solutions that they supply and training will be offered where appropriate.
