Job Description InsightUK are a UK leading facilities services Company. We are currently searching for a driven, independent, skilful electrical/mechanical engineer to join our team to be able to cover all maintenance and break down calls. If you are looking for the flexibility and responsibility of working from home and managing your own working day then this position will give all this, but also give you the security of an established company backing you 100%. The successful candidate will hold a minimum of 3 years proven experience in the industry. As well as have an approachable character and be confident with communicating with, our office based staff, suppliers and clients. Within this role the successful candidate will be required to complete all documentation including completing work sheets, typing exam reports etc. electronically on the high spec mobile telephone and android tablet provided to them. Alongside this they will also be able to correctly identify and obtain prices from suppliers for the head office to compile the required quotations etc. Job Type / Category Main Job Task/Duties: Service, inspection, maintenance and attend 24-hour breakdown call outs. To be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repairs to access equipment on sites we maintain nationally. This equipment includes the following: · Cradle & BMU systems · Fall Arrest and Safety Line systems · Eyebolts · Gantries & Walkways · Roof Guardrail systems and Handrails · Ladders The candidate must be confident in being able to work from Ladders, Scaffold, MEWP’s and roof areas as required and have a good Health & Safety understanding. Successful applicants will need to have a flexible approach to work and be prepared to work in evenings and weekends as may be required. Required Education, Skills and Qualifications Electrical / Mechanical knowledge and Industry experience in strictly required. IPAF/PASMA preferred Ensure that Health & Safety rules and guidelines are followed at all times and to comply with British Standards and LOLER regulations Full clean driving licence required. Benefits Standard pay rate will depend on experience, with a company van, mobile phone and tablet being provided for work use. The candidate must have their own hand tools (other than what would be deemed specialist) and be self-sufficient in nature.
