Travel Sales and Customer Services Manager - Maternity Cover To £30,000 Bonus and Benefits Kent My client is a well established tour operator who specialise in holidays to the USA and Caribbean selling through both the travel trade and the direct consumer. They are now looking to recruit a Travel Sales and Customer Services Manager on a 15 month contract to cover maternity, there is a possibility this role will the become permanent. The Travel sales and Customer Services Manager will be overseeing the operation of the sales and customer service team. They main responsibility of this role is to monitor, improve and drive progress towards sales and reducing operational processing time to increase customer satisfaction levels and productivity within the Customer area. Candidates for this role must have previous travel industry experience at either management, team leader or supervisory levels having previously managed team’s of consultants. Travel Sales and Customer Services Manager Responsibilities: Maintain staffing levels in the sales team on both a short- and long-term basis; to include input into recruitment, rota planning, management of and recording of absence and annual leaveHandling performance management of the team to include training, KPIs development and delivery, ad hoc reviews, as well as annual reviews. Conducting regular meetings and monthly 121’s and managing administration of team’s existing bookings, issuing of documentation, booking accuracy to ensure monies can be collected and working with the After Care team to ensure that all bookings are fit for travel. Troubleshooting any guest issues pre, during and post departure, including dealing with complaints in conjunction with the Customer Service Team. Performing team training, mentoring performance management to maximise their potential and growth within the company.
