Overview
There is an opportunity for entry-level Financial Analyst at a fintech startup based in North West London. The startup is developing B2B fintech platform to serve professionals in investment and asset management areas. This is a great opportunity to kick start your career and gain knowledge and hands-on experience while closely working with a team of investment, finance and technology professionals. Main responsibilities: Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support Conduct analysis and reporting of non-financial KPIs Report on financial performance and prepare for regular reviews Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements Work closely with management to ensure accurate financial reporting Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with budgets and baselines Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimisation Recommend actions by analysing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses study proposed changes in methods and materials Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools Ad-hoc project work Qualifications and skills required: At least Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Investment Graduate, preferably studying towards professional qualifications A commercially-minded individual with excellent analytical and data interpretation skills Self-confident, hardworking, committed and diligent Proficiency with Excel: familiarity with data query/data management tools is helpful Strong analytical and data gathering skills Good business acumen UK visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate.
