Information Security Director Manchester office plus UK travel CISM, CISSP, CISA, ISO 27001, Data Protection About the Role This is a strategic management role where you will own the ISO 27001 framework for the business and be our lead on the risk management, compliance and assurance processes. Ideally, your previous role(s) will have had a global reach and you will be able to identify road maps to integrate any acquired businesses compliance frameworks in to our organisation. To join us on this exciting journey, we want to appoint an Information Security Director who will be responsible for the Group’s Information security and business continuity governance and frameworks. Reporting to the Group Operations Director the role covers our Group and is designed around the principle that security isn’t just about technology; it is also about how people interact and use that technology. We want to ensure that our governance frameworks are fully embedded within the business and form an essential part of building secure and resilient applications and services that are viewed internally and externally as ‘best in class’. The Information Security Director will be responsible for the governance activities related to the availability, integrity and confidentiality of our customer, partner information. You will have regular board exposure and as such must be comfortable presenting at this level About You The role will demand a person that is comfortable operating at numerous levels and can seamlessly transition from leader, to manager to a hands-on approach where required. This role underpins a rapidly maturing business and will need clear line of sight to the priorities across multiple disciples, business units and our infrastructure / software architecture. You’ll have experience previously of leading a team in Information Security and Business Continuity. You’ll have sound experience and understanding of the full spectrum of information security and business continuity issues. You’ll have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, and be a voice of the business within Industry. You’ll be a leader with excellent people development skills. You’ll have excellent communication skills with an outgoing and welcoming personality, able to adapt to differing personalities and motivations at ease.
