This is a newly created role, making this an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business which offers career progression opportunities. The purpose of this role is: To be the "go to" person for the production and management of monthly reports and accurate information including but not limited to KPI reporting, detailed variance analysis and bespoke budget holder reports. To be responsible for the production and maintenance of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets while tailoring business plans and future developments. To take the lead on the performance reporting of a specific business area while providing commentary, assessing and analysing the overall performance and highlighting areas of risk. To be an active participant in the operational and strategic projects, providing financial analysis of longer term financial implications of strategic decisions, to ensure that changing requirements are anticipated. To be the face of all things finance and support the senior management team on all financial matters. To manage a team, support their personal development. This role will suit a fully qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) who is highly numerate and computer literate with strong Microsoft skills including Word and Excel as well as having excellent communication skills (verbally and in written), strong influencing skills and a proven track record of working effectively in a fast paced client driven environment.
