Overview
Our client is a growing and successful business with a bright future. Due to continued and stable growth they are now looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to join their team. You will take control and have knowledge on all aspects of purchasing & purchase ledger as well as credit control, banking and cash flow reporting within the company. This role is a high-level position with the successful candidate working closely with the Managing Director of the business. The successful candidate will join a fast-growing business, driven by a charismatic team and MD. Primary duties to include: Produce daily & monthly cash flow reports and analysis for the MD. Full and complete bank reconciliation. Manage day to day purchasing and purchase ledger (using Sage 50 Accounts). Credit control to ensure prompt payments. Preparing payroll once per month (for an external bureau). Skills and Experience required: A recognised accounting qualification is preferred but not essential. Previous experience in small but dynamic businesses. Ability to prioritise workload and ensure deadlines are met regularly. The right candidate will display dynamism and flexibility.
