Overview
SmartChoice are currently working with a financial services organisation based in the heart of the City of London. They are looking for a Senior/Lead Cloud/DevOps Engineer on a permanent basis to join the team As a Senior/Lead Cloud Engineer you will have prior experience in building shared capabilities in cloud “Landing Zones”. In addition, you will have focused on architecting solutions and translating business requirements into a technical design with minimal supervision. A crucial part of this role is to design and implement automation pipelines for deployment into AWS (any added experience of Azure and GCP would be beneficial as the organisation have a multi-cloud strategy). Essential experience required: Strong demonstrable Cloud experience - infrastructure build and configs of a variety of services i.e., Networking services, Compute, Storage, IAM, SDN (VPC and XPN). Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Hands-on experience with design and implementation on cloud native solutions with emphasis on Network, Identify and Access Management, Programmable infrastructure Even logging, Resource monitoring and Secret Management. Hands-on experience with design and implementation of infrastructure as code solution using at least one of the following: Jenkins, Ansible, Bitbucket, Terraform, Hashicorp, Powershell etc. Experience working on a SDLC environment for infrastructure as code, segreagating duties and tagging of code for automation testing Nice to have: Containers, Container OS and Container orchestration (i.e. Docker, COS, GKE etc.) If this could be of interest, please submit your CV for review.
