Overview
Maintenance Manager Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Location: Pudsey Role: Permanent, Full Time Position: To work alongside the Maintenance Manager in a view to taking over the role. Assisting as necessary with the day to day duties, dealing directly with the Maintenance teams, as well as also Meetings with the clients. Looking after illumination faults, general repairs of signs and covering Health and Safety callouts. Duties consist of (in conjunction with the Manager) - Helping the Maintenance Manager with the General running of the department Organising the engineers work schedule Answering the phone when jobs are called in or when queries are raised by clients Dealing with clients requests in the office On call on a weekend and on nights (rota) - accepting jobs and organising the relevant team to attend. As well as dealing with the engineers working OOH. Meeting clients / customers Interacting with and assisting maintenance engineers with onsite queries Emailing schedules to the teams Working on the clients own specific portals and KPI systems Occasional onsite inspection of engineers Covering the role of Manager when Maintenance Manager is on Holiday or at Meetings Chasing works through the factory Ordering parts from production Working on general stock levels for Maintenance Ensuring KPI's are kept to the required standard for all clients / customers Completing Health and Safety / RAMs manuals for all teams Key qualities required: Works well under pressure Can multi task Good communicator on all levels (staff or client) Good attention to detail Happy to work on call / weekends where necessary Work away when necessary (occasional) Comfortable speaking with and meeting Clients, as well as senior members within the business Able to give clear instructions to Engineers Self-Motivated and able to motivate others to get the best out of them is of high importance in this role
