Overview

IT Systems Analyst Your new company This is an opportunity to join a well-respected not for profit organisation based in Bristol City Centre. The company is one of the 8 national Local Government Pension Scheme Pools in the UK and manage the pension funds for the South West. Your new role Due to increased business activity the organisation requires a Systems Analyst that will provide to the System Manager, engage with users as they develop their cloud-based applications and will contribute to our IT and data strategy implementation. You will also provide support to the evolution of the company's Salesforce CRM. Key responsibilities include: Running IT control processes - Provisioning of laptops and mobile phones for new joiners. Monitor laptop builds Perform systems administration functions within SharePoint. Performing business analyst functions, gathering system requirements, working with the change management team to prepare business cases and then work with external developers through development, testing and deployment cycle. Perform systems administration within Salesforce, this would include liaising with external developers and support teams, monitoring system releases and can include customising workflows, surfacing fields etc. Assist the System Manager in oversight and engagement of the organisation's outsourced corporate IT infrastructure provider, covering both the services and hardware, this includes: a contact centre, onsite support, sales team, cyber security, laptops, mobiles, wi-fi. What you'll need to succeed Must have a strong background with Microsoft systems including Office 365 and a base level with Windows Administration. Experience understanding and explaining system data flows and data requirements, controls, normalisation, mapping, handovers. Have familiarity with the systems development lifecycle, with relevant experience working through the stages. Ideally have user or super user access in Salesforce and the desire to become a Salesforce administrator. Ideally experience with Microsoft Azure and Intune would be desirable as well.
