12 month FTC Home/Office based A fantastic opportunity has arisen to support the overall service operations and provide support to the Country Service Leader (CSL) and Team Leaders focusing on stock management activities namely; demo, consignment and spare part replenishment to develop and improve existing procedures and policies and prevent losses. The successful application will be instrumental in executing key milestones to ensure the delivery of strategic initiatives to make way for growth opportunities. We are looking for an experienced operations professional who specialises in inventory management who will bring unwavering professionalism and meticulous accuracy to the position. As Service Operations Inventory Specialist you will be tasked by the Country Service Leader to execute key initiative requirements to improve operations, especially, inventory management across the business unit. This role requires you to be involved with day to day operational activities and executing tasks as requested by the Country Service Leader (CSL) and Team Leaders, focusing on stock management activities namely; demo, consignment and spare part replenishment to develop and improve existing procedures and policies, and prevent losses. The objective will be to support the delivery of key initiatives to drive the service operation forward, aligned with the business strategy to meet financial goals and targets. To be successful you will be required to build close working relationships with the Country Service Leader and Team Leaders and communicate directly with the Customer and key stakeholders. KEY TASKS Support CSL and Team Leaders to execute key initiative and improvements, analysis and summarising proposals Collating information of the stock movements activities and analysing data, detailing areas of improvement, trends and other required analytics Establish streamlined, cost effective improvements to manage inventory efficiently including assigning inventory levels Identification and escalation of constraints Working with the GCS CS Logistics co-ordinator to co-ordinate and carry out cycle counts where necessary Running of reports and the ability to convert into required format i.e. GANTT, Word, Excel, Flow chart, Graph, etc. Support Regulatory and Quality compliance Supporting system integration process To be successful in this role you will have the following experience: Service, inventory management and customer support environment - 3 years minimum Consignment stock management - 2 years Planning, scheduling and customer facing role Microsoft packages Data analysis Report writing and analysing data Project management Required skills, knowledge & behaviours: Strong communication skills both written and verbal; ability to communicate to a varied audience Strong research and coordination skills Adheres to confidentiality and Data Protection Flexible attitude and ability to handle changing priorities Attention to detail Able to work across multiple functions Current driving license We are happy for the candidate to be based anywhere in England, however you must be prepared to travel to consignment stock sites roughly 40% of the time.
