Asset Surveyor - Agile Working South West
Overview
Permanent opportunity for an Asset Surveyor to join a leading provider of housing in the south west Your new company You will be joining a forward thinking and ambitious housing association who have plans to invest 2 billion pounds into the delivery of new housing across the next seven years. This housing is delivered through joint ventures as well as client-side developments, and as an asset surveyor joining the team you will become an integral part of the successful delivery and handover of a number of these homes. Your new role You will join the new build homes team and as a surveyor will visit new residential properties at the point they are handed over. Your role will involve checking and inspecting on all serviceable elements of these homes, including boilers, fire alarms, smoke alarms and other electronic features. Whilst in the properties you will also undertake a domestic energy assessment. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in this position you will ideally have some previous experience in stock condition surveying, asset surveying or validation surveying in residential property, as well as have a DEA certificate. What you'll get in return In return you will receive a permanent salary of £38,500 per year (including car allowance) as well as 26 days annual leave and support towards your professional development. Your new client champions remote and flexible working, meaning you'll also have an opportunity to work remotely and flexibly, visiting offices only for team meetings.
