Real Estate Associate Highly Competitive Basic, plus Benefits & Bonus London/South East A Global Corporate Commercial Law firm based in Central London is seeking a mid-level Associate to join their expanding Finance & Real Estate Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a ‘business-minded’ lawyer who is keen to further deepen their relationships with clients and hone their entrepreneurial and corporate commercial acumen. The Practice A leading Modern & Entrepreneurial Corporate Commercial Law firm with an enviable client base of national and international companies ranging from Global, SMEs and start-ups. Highly collegiate and skilled, the firm comprises Legal 500 and City lawyers who are professional, commercially minded, down-to-Earth and flexible. Responsibilities of your new role Reporting into a Senior Real Estate Partner, the successful associate will be part of a small team, advising and acting for a wide range of national and international commercial entities. Dealing with a varied range of real estate and real estate finance transactions including; drafting and negotiating a wide range of transaction documents carrying out due diligence, including the preparation of draft certificates and reports. Handling a variety of corporate finance, debt finance, real estate finance and development matters General Real Estate matters; Retail and corporate lease agreements Managing lease amendments Letting agreements Candidate requirements The ideal candidate will not only have solid experience within Finance and Real Estate law, but also a keen eye for stakeholder engagement and relationship management. You will regularly liaise with other team members and coordinate advice from other practice areas and departments. It is essential that the candidate is UK qualified. Ideally, the Associate will have trained within a leading Legal 500 or City law firm and any in-house secondment experience is of interest. You will be an agile (think on your feet and flexible around client priorities), hands-on legal professional with a strong sense of initiative, pro-activity and investigative mind-set.
