Overview
The busy criminal law team of reputable firm is looking to expand with the addition of a Paralegal. Based in Bootle, the Criminal Paralegal will be offered a full-time, permanent role. Your New Role Key duties of the Criminal Paralegal will include: Managing a case load of all types of motoring offences from speeding to drug / drink and dangerous driving, including Magistrate and Crown Court Cases File management Preparing client letters Drafting statements Liaising with clients in person and over the telephone Instructing experts Briefing counsel The Candidate Applications are welcomed from Paralegals with significant criminal law experience. You should demonstrate: Motoring Law experience (desirable but not essential) Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex matters in clear, accessible language The ability to work well as part of a team as well as on your own initiative Highly organised, able to work well when under pressure to meet tight deadlines Personable, professional and client-focused Salary In return, the successful Paralegal will be offered up to £28,000 per annum , dependent on experience.
