Commercial Property Associate Chelmsford, Essex | £50,000 - £70,000 per annum A leading, Tier 1 ranked law firm with various offices in Essex and the surrounding areas is looking to hire a Commercial Property Associate for a full-time, permanent role at its Chelmsford office. The Commercial Property team is Top ranked Chambers UK 2019 and Top Tier Legal 500 2018, recognised for providing a service covering all aspects of the construction and property industry. Your New Role The Commercial Property Associate is required to undertake the following matters to the highest degree of quality: Conditional and unconditional acquisitions and disposals Affordable housing disposals Portfolio acquisitions and disposals Option agreements and strategic land planning Consortium/collaboration agreements Overage arrangements Mixed Site assembly and development City/town regeneration schemes Contentious and non-contentious construction work Secured lending Site regeneration for both the public and private sectors Additionally, you will play an active role in marketing and practice development alongside providing a high level of service to existing clients. About You Applications are invited from Associate Solicitors who demonstrate: Solid grounding in commercial property 3 years of PQE Business development and marketing experience Whilst no prior experience of commercial development/housebuilder work is required and full training and supervision will be provided, those able to demonstrate some experience in the areas of work set out above or a willingness to specialise will be favoured. Salary On offer for the successfully placed Commercial Property Solicitor will be a competitive salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum , dependent on experience, plus excellent benefits .
