Overview
An International Insurance Broking House is looking for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join their offices in Chelmsford. In this role, you will be responsible for managing own book of renewals of UK based risks of global clients with annual premiums of up to £30,000 GWP. You will be working in a team of about 15 ambitious account handlers with excellent opportunities for career development.Other responsibilities include negotiating insurance premiums and covers with Insurers, maintaining client business retention by efficient handling of all matters, day-to-day enquiries, renewals etc. The ideal candidate would have at least 3-5 years’ experience in dealing with cross class commercial policies: Commercial Combined, Liability, Property, Property Owners, Fleet, D&O, PI etc. Candidates from SME background would also be considered. You would be professional and have a strong record in successfully retaining and building strong client relationships.
