My client a well known Oil and Gas company based in Central London are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company that will offer a huge amount of progression and development for the right candidate. You will be a key member of the Finance team that will help support the growth and development of the business. Salary 25- 30K bonus benefits Job description: Assisting with accounts preparation Month end journals, prepayments and accruals Intercompany journals Balance sheet reconciliations Quarterly VAT returns Person: Excellent communication skills – verbal and written Good telephone manner Attention to detail and very organised Assisting with accounts preparation and support Ability to work as a part of a team as well as on own initiative Experience in book keeping, bank reconciliation and account preparation support. Strong communication skill Good level of understanding of Excel Strong organisations skill Good understanding of double entry bookkeeping Previous industry experience would be beneficial however not essential Minimum 2 years of experience as Bookkeeper Experiences of Sage 50 is essential
