About the company: Providing prepaid solutions to businesses throughout the UK and internationally, the company specialises in prepaid travel, gift and debit corporate cards for retailers. Duties & Responsibilities of the Senior Java Software Engineer: The Senior Java Software Engineer will come from a strong Java software engineering background Experienced in developing new functionality and exposure to complete software development life cycles Strong OOA/OOAD understanding and experience Contributing to design, testing and implementation of the platform Taking technical lead of projects Responsibility to be a key member of the Scrum Team, and mentoring Junior Developers Contributing to the technical evolution of products Experience & Skills needed of the Senior Java Software Engineer: The Senior Java Software Engineer will be degree educated in Computer Science or a related engineering subject Strong experience in commercial development Java, OOAD and SQL experience Exposure to Scrum, Spring, System architecture, HTML and JavaScript Understanding of Unix scripting and large databases- Oracle In return for the Senior Java Software Engineer: Competitive negotiable salary bonus scheme Flexible working Incentives and comprehensive benefits 25 days holiday a year and company pension
