Overview
IT Network Architect - International Advisory Firm This is a fantastic opportunity for a IT Network Architect to join a newly created and growing IT team with a leading international professional services firm. Being a new role, it offers tremendous scope for development as the firm looks to evolve its IT function into a global capability. The Network Architect will set the strategy and standards for the firms use of voice, data, video and wireless network technology services. This will involve: Defining the technology landscape, both at a local and global level Managing suppliers Recommending and proposing monitoring solutions Assisting in transitioning new technologies into mainstream IT support Candidates will need to have experience of creating and working with enterprise architecture with both cloud and traditional networks and will be expected to understand SaaS based voice and video conferencing technology services and ISP connectivity. Experience of selecting, designing, and overseeing the deployment of traditional LAN, WAN and WLAN solutions is required as is architectural experience of product life-cycle delivery, owning the design from strategy through to execution and data centre network design.
