Overview
Infrastructure Architect La Fosse are currently engaged with a leading environmental NGO who are looking to expand their Technology division in 2020. Reporting into the IT Director, the Infrastructure Architect will be responsible defining and managing the overall Infrastructure Architecture & Cloud strategic roadmap for the organisation's Architecture estate. Key responsibilities: Build and implement cloud solutions, both public & private, at an enterprise scale Define and deliver the strategy and direction of Azure internally Partner with the technology team and wider business to drive the target Architecture of applications with a cloud footprint Work with Engineering teams to migrate capabilities to the cloud Assist in the definition of the principles, standards and best practices for the organisation's platform Make recommendations to improve cost-efficiency or performance on the platform by re-architecting or changing the existing solutions. Key skills: Previous experience within the capacity of Infrastructure Architect or Cloud Architect Understanding of Architecture methodologies, including TOGAF Experience with Cloud technologies, and ideally migrating capabilities to Azure Preferred previous experience within large, complex enterprises Experience working with limited budgets and delivering cost-effective solutions This is an exciting opportunity to join an industry leading NGO, if you are interested in finding out more information please email This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89963833
