Overview
A senior level Paralegal or Legal Executive with previous experience in Litigation and Dispute Resolution is now required by our established legal client in the Salisbury area. If you are looking to further your career within a highly respected and professional law firm, then this could be an superb opportunity for 2020. The role will be based within their specialist Dispute Resolution department dealing with a range of specialist legal areas including Property Disputes, Neighbourhood Disputes, Consumer Law, Debt Recovery, Inquests, Contested Probate, Professional Negligence, Landlord & Tenant & Contract Disputes. Suitable candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Paralegal in this area of Law within a UK Solicitors firm and will be confident in handling their own files and working with modest supervision. The role will involve: Administrative tasks relating to cases Working closely with other fee-earners, researching and analysing data Opening files and preparing case notes Drafting documents Client liaison and communication in person, by email and on the phone Taking ownership of cases, managing own files and working with minimal supervision Court work where appropriate Skills required: A strong general legal background Knowledge of Litigation and ADR Drafting skills Passionate and enthusiastic to progress their legal career Good IT skills including Word and Excel Excellent communication and client handling skills Highly organised and efficient An effective team player Strong time management skills Good academic record including a Law Degree and/or LPC qualification or ILEX, part or fully qualified A professional approach when dealing colleagues and clients alike.
