Overview

HR Manager 37.5 per week 12 Month FTC SHC is a forward-thinking organisation that has 15 Care Homes in West and East Sussex that supports older people and people with a range of physical and learning disabilities. Operating within a very busy HR department and directly managing 3 members of the HR team, the HR Manager must be a credible HR subject matter expert. Someone who is able to advise on complex HR issues and effectively support managers and colleagues achieve organisational goals and objectives. This position is a 12 Month FTC. The role: Maintain and continually develop a strong knowledge of employment law and HR practice Develop strong, pro-active partnerships with directors & managers. Effectively support managers with all operational HR related issues including employee relations, engagement, talent management, performance management, change management, TUPE, including due diligence and other relevant areas considering organisational risk at all stages. Providing advice in line with the organisations policies and procedures. Monitor and measure the performance of the HR Advisor & Assistant HR Advisor. Support the HR Team in providing advice and guidance to managers in an efficient and timely manner and developing functional processes to drive improvement. Use management information and other sources of information pro-actively to provide accurate, up to date business intelligence that informs functional and business actions. Maintain the internal HR database by updating details of employee relations issues to ensure that all required information and records relating to employees are promptly and accurately. To act as a role model for HR colleagues and conduct all HR matters in a professional manner at all times. The successful candidate will have: CIPD Level 7 qualified Experience operating as a HR Manager or Senior HR Adviser in a large organisation Experience of working in a busy HR environment with challenging and competing demands, providing employee relations advice and case management Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to build rapport and strong working relationships with middle managers Must be able to commit to a start date of 18th March ideally Please Note : The successful candidate will be required to complete a Disclosure & Barring Service Check (DBS) Apply and join our team
