Overview
The Oakwood is not your traditional pub, our food is on trend, we make our own recipes with fresh ingredients. We're not afraid to experiment. We have a menu which includes, meat, vegetarian and vegan options. We're getting busier and busier on food and are now well established in Glossop. We're recruiting a Weekend Chef - Do you have experience in busy kitchens? - Are you able to work alone as well as in a team? - Are you creative with your recipe's? Ideally this job would work well for someone who is flexible with their work pattern and able to flex up and down. This role is predominately weekend (30hrs over 3 days), however can increase up to 50hrs when there are holidays to cover. We're busy creating a new lunch menu which may also lead to additional kitchen hours. You'll be working in a fun relaxed kitchen, your shifts will be busy, you must be able to keep your cool under pressure Skill base and fit with the rest of the team are both equally important.
