Weekend Community Care and Support Worker

Essentially, you put the comfort, happiness and safety of our customers first - and do what you can to support them. A Care and Support Worker is our most essential role and involves: * Helping our customers to remain in their own homes. * Supporting our customers by accompanying them to appointments, shopping, preparing meals and helping with daily living routines including washing, dressing and personal care. * Providing companionship and making someone's day that little bit easier. * Understanding the care plan in place to support the customers we look after. * Keeping clear and accurate records of the care and support provided at each visit. What we need from you: * A caring, kind and empathetic approach * To be passionate about making a difference * Good communication skills * To work flexibly on set shifts including weekends * To be a car driver ( essential) We provide care to customers in the Taunton area and surrounding villages. You will be given full training and support right from the outset.
