Your team As a member of the ASMD Team (Avaloq Solution Model Development), you will be part of a group of highly motivated Software Engineers that are responsible for developing the ASMD environment which supports customisation experts in improving their code quality and increasing their efficiency. ASMD offers integrated editors with cross-model validation, formatting, code assist and reference resolution for all customisation artefacts. Automated syntax checking and real time code validation help customisation experts to find potential errors at an early stage of development. We will place a large amount of trust in you and give you the opportunity to contribute quickly. You will design, implement, maintain and test innovative software solutions to meet our clients’ needs. You will be working in an environment where formal and on-the-job training and collaboration is a priority, and you will learn a lot. What you will do The successful candidate will be responsible for: the analysis, design, implementation and quality of new and existing ASMD functionality communication with internal and external customers and stakeholders the guidance and mentoring of other team members What we are looking for a thorough knowledge of developing in a modern object-oriented language (Java preferred) a good understanding of the features and workings of modern IDEs a structured and autonomous approach to working the ability to convey complex concepts in an approachable and understandable manner a creative problem solver and abstract thinker Any of the following additional skills would be an advantage: experience of Eclipse plug-in development design and development of IDEs or compilers development of Domain Specific Languages (DSL's) development using EMF and the Xtext Framework Oracle, PL/SQL experience What we will offer you With our compensation model, we want to share the success of the company with all our employees.
