Your new role The council are looking for a Planning Assistant to work as part of the customer service team. The role encompasses a variety of day-to-day responsibilities, including: Responsibility for providing exceptional customer service in a team of specialist town planning, building control and land charge advisors. You will help deliver an inclusive first class service to customers, provisioning accurate and timely technical legislative advice to enquirers through a variety of contact channels. The successful candidate will also undertake all aspects of customer contact administration including taking payments, dealing with payment enquiries, and balancing all monies at the end of the day. What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered for this role, you will need a comprehensive technical and legislative knowledge of all subjects relating to town planning, building control and land charges customer enquiries. Further to this, successful candidates will need knowledge and application of customer care standards in relation to the services covered by this post.
