Location: London or Woking Who you'll be working with You will be working as part of our Resource Management team within the UK Practices business in Capgemini. Together with our clients, we create and deliver business and technology solutions that fit their needs and drive the results they want. We work with over 230 clients across industry sectors, including UK Public Sector (primarily Tax and Welfare, Justice & Security and Devolved Government), Consumer Products, Retail and Distribution, Energy & Utilities, Travel & Transport, Telco, Aerospace & Defence. With over 2000 people onshore and 2900 people offshore our capabilities cover end-to-end solution and service delivery across Digital, Microsoft, Open Source, SAP, Oracle and Salesforce platforms. Our Resourcing team supports the Sales and Delivery communities within the Market Units to fulfil our client's demands. They work as trusted advisors that work closely together to ensure that we deliver the appropriate skills mix The focus of your role In summary, the objective of the role is to proactively manage the resourcing process, identify issues affecting resourcing performance, then help to develop solutions, working with a wide variety of stakeholders, in order to support the Management Team in ensuring Application Practices and Insights & Data UK meets their financial and non-financial targets. What you'll do Respond to resource requests from-Account and Business Development Managers within and outside of Apps Practices and Insights & Data-This involves owning requests for your skills areas, identifying appropriate candidates, liaising with Capability Leads, submittingCVs to therequestor, putting candidates andrequestor in touch to discuss the role, keepingrequestor, candidates and Capability Leads updated on status, updating Retain to reflect opportunity in the forecast Resource Managers from all areas of Capgemini, within the UK and internationally Project and Programme Managers within and outside of Apps Practices and Insights & Data Actively seek placement opportunities for resources coming available:-by building relationships with other Resource Managers (from other areas of the company, within and outside of the UK) by identifying open opportunities on Demand Capture Storage (DCS) tool by building relationships with the Sector interfaces Place consultants into roles, balancing their development needs with the needs of the business Meet with/become familiar with the resources within the team(s) that you are responsible for, understand their career aspirations and development needs.-understand training needs for resource where appropriate ensure that up to date profiles are held on the database In the absence of fee paid roles, place resources onto sales support and other non-billable work that supports the pipeline and internal initiatives Provide Management Information, as required, to the Business Unit Heads/Capability Leads, Business Operation Managers and Consultants Maintain resourcing tools; update Retain with forecasted project information and maintain month 1 accuracy via ghost booking interface from DTX and a forward looking view to 120 days, maintain DCS by updating open demand and closing requests down What you'll bring Positive, enthusiastic attitude Must demonstrate drive and enthusiasm to take positive action and progress projects to a conclusionSelf-motivated Excellent communication and presentation skillsExcellent analytical and problem solving skills.
