Overview
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Trowbridge We are very pleased to be representing our client, a highly respected global market leader within the manufacturing industry who are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. Employing a high number of machine operatives, our client has built an exceptional reputation with both national and international customers alike. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining key machinery to the highest standard of efficiency to ensure continuous production of equipment. The role includes working on: Production machines Pneumatic and hydraulic circuits AC/DC drives and motors PLC’s and associated test machines Temperature measurement and control Safety checks on moving equipment Mechanical PMI’s Facility/office services and equipment - including boilers, compressors, air handling units Person specification: You must be qualified to NVQ level 3 in Engineering Maintenance or equivalent Have undertaken a recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship Substantial experience of maintenance work within a manufacturing environment Previous experience of having worked on small installation jobs along with improvement projects would be advantageous A willingness to undertake necessary training to assist the Engineering team as and when required ???????Benefits: Competitive salary Up to 5% bonus 25 days holiday Medical and health cash-back scheme Pension matched up to 7.5% Share incentive scheme The role requires working on an alternate shift pattern of 6.00am - 2.00pm and 2.00pm - 10.00pm, Monday to Friday.
