Job Function: Area Sales Manager Plant & machinery, FLT, Materials Handling, Capital Equipment Location: Nottingham and surrounding Package: DOE - Salary up to £34k strong benefits package genuine opportunity to earn £50k plus OTE The Opportunity A household name in the Materials Handling sector are looking to recruit an additional Area Sales Manager to their existing team. Operating from a number of Depots and supplying FLT and Intra-logistics on a national basis, this business offer bespoke solutions based upon each individual project and are one of the biggest providers of their specific products in the UK. For the ambitious, this is an opportunity to train with one of the best in the business, with a strong career route and multiple routes for progression. Job Description The successful Area Sales Manager will be responsible for securing new business within a designated territory in the UK, in the case the Nottingham M1 corridor. You will be managing all sales within the company's range of products selling into Distribution, Manufacturing, Food production and Construction. There will be an element of key account management within the role, along with securing new contracts (about 50/50). You will be selling Capital Equipment solutions including Fork Lift Trucks (new 7 used), training, ancillaries & after-care services. Person Specification 2-3 years of proven sales experience Capital Equipment sales experience (Plant & Machinery ideally) Has a technical mindset Ambitious and results focused Able to communicate at all levels Highly inquisitive and keen to learn This is an outstanding opportunity to join a genuine market leader in their field, who have worked tirelessly to create a fantastic reputation in the market.
