Junior / Graduate Software Developer (PHP) An up and coming firm within the B2B Energy sector are currently seeing a huge expansion of their IT team. With the company having a ‘tech first’ attitude they see the value in investing into their development teams. The company currently have a senior team of developers, which has opened the doors for a graduate or a junior developer to join the company and learn from some of the best developers in the area. With a variety of projects to work on from internal greenfield projects to working on third party web products which enable improvement of customer experience. The company are currently seeing a migration over to the cloud (AWS), opening many opportunities to complete certifications and/or attend external training courses. This is an exciting time to join the company, with a chance to get on board with continuing the journey of the company’s expansion. With a great deal of projects and work lined up over the coming years. Responsibilities: - · Working on the backend and frontend development of projects using: PHP(Laravel), JavaScript, Vue, React and AWS. · Assist the company is migration over to AWS. · Work alongside the business to provide appropriate development on internal systems · Add innovative assets to external systems to improve customer experience · Help the marketing team with creating sophisticated and professional branding for the company. · Work on automatizing of operational functions to enhance the businesses performance. · Handle large data operations, which includes a great deal of planning to ensure the processes run smoothly. Experience Required: · Good knowledge of OOP using PHP (preferably Laravel framework) · Frontend development experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS. · Graduated from a relevant web development degree or at least 1-year professional experience using PHP. · Placement year in a professional setting is beneficial. · Experience using React or Vue is a huge advantage. · Basic knowledge on cloud technologies is preferred.
