Global Head of Grid and Engineering – Competitive Salary Benefits The Role Eco Energy World PLC, a leading developer of large scale solar projects since 2008 with a track record of 1.3 GW, are looking for an experienced, motivated and capable Global Head of Grid and Engineering. The position is to be in Monaco or London (Mayfair) where our offices are based. The successful candidate will be responsible for channelling Project Manager and Developer queries for technical assistance through the life of the project, and leading the communication with DNO and Installers in order to maximise project budget and quality whilst meeting deadlines. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a prestigious role with an internationally recognised developer. Other key responsibilities of a Global Head of Grid and Engineering include, but are not limited to: Preparing of grid applications that include all relevant information required by the different DNO; and ensuring they are submitted in a timely manner and they progress through the DNO process without delay Reviewing process of grid connection offers to ensure they meet our requirements Being involved in the creation and maintenance of framework agreements with relevant suppliers and service providers Defining standards for grid connections in order to reduce installation time and cost Working with the Microsoft Office suite to produce correspondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases Building and maintaining a deep knowledge of the energy market, from the initial network to DNOs and certified installers Performing any other duties as deemed relevant by the Grid Delivery Manager but relevant to previous experience of academic qualifications The Company The Eco Energy World PLC is an international developer of utility scale solar power projects with head offices based in United Kingdom, London. The Person The key skills and qualities of a Global Head of Grid and Engineering: BSc or MSc in Electrical/Environmental Engineering or other relevant discipline, combined with 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role Previous experience in MV/HV installation environment and a track record in connections (11/33/66kV); experience in 132kV connection is a plus Highly organised and detail oriented, able to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong verbal and written communication skills with immaculate spelling and grammar, always meeting clients in a professional but friendly manner A team player with a flexible and can-do attitude If you are keen on joining this exciting, forward thinking company and taking the next step in your career, then please click the apply now button to find out more.
