Overview
Role: IT Technician Location: Trafford Park (M41) Salary: £21,000 - £25,000 Hours: 8:30am - 5pm (mon - fri) Essential Keen to provide first line support and problem solve. Confident with excellent communication skills - both written and verbal. Advanced knowledge of Windows 7, 10 and Office 2010, 2016, and Office 365. The ability to diagnose and fix general common computer issues. Managing physical infrastructure. Ability to diagnose, research, and implement features using online documentation. Networking and trouble shooting skills. Basic knowledge of PC hardware setup and configuration, Windows Server administration and Active Directory. Full, clean UK driving license, access to own vehicle and the willingness to travel to other sites (Salford and Birmingham) as and when required by the business would be advantageous. Desirable Experience in an IT Support/ IT Technician role would be preferable. Experience with HTML, CSS and at least one web programming language. Experience in the Ecommerce industry is advantageous but not essential. 2:1 or higher in a Computer Science degree or equivalent. Knowledge of the programmes Magento, Sage or 3CX is desirable but not essential.
